RailShot TV ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application ("App").
1. Information We Collect
RailShot TV is designed to provide professional billiards livestreaming functionality. We collect minimal information necessary for the App to function.
Device Permissions
The App requests the following permissions to provide streaming functionality:
- Camera Access: Required to capture video for livestreaming. Video is streamed directly to your chosen platform (YouTube or Facebook) and is not stored by us.
- Microphone Access: Required to capture audio for livestreaming. Audio is streamed directly to your chosen platform and is not stored by us.
- Network Access: Required to stream content to YouTube and Facebook, and to discover NDI cameras on your local network.
- Local Network Access: Required to discover and connect to NDI (Network Device Interface) cameras on your local network.
Third-Party Authentication
To enable livestreaming, the App uses OAuth authentication with:
- YouTube: We use YouTube's official API to authenticate and obtain streaming credentials. We do not access or store your YouTube account information beyond what is necessary for streaming.
- Facebook: We use Facebook's official API to authenticate and obtain streaming credentials. We do not access or store your Facebook account information beyond what is necessary for streaming.
2. How We Use Information
The information accessed by the App is used solely for the following purposes:
- To enable livestreaming functionality to YouTube and Facebook
- To display camera preview and scoreboard overlays
- To discover and connect to NDI cameras on your local network
- To manage game scores and match information (stored locally on your device)
3. Data Storage and Collection
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. All data remains on your device or is streamed directly to your chosen platform (YouTube or Facebook).
- Game scores and match information are stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults
- Video and audio streams are sent directly to YouTube or Facebook — we do not intercept or store this content
- We do not track your usage, collect analytics, or monitor your activity
4. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with the following third-party services:
- YouTube: Your use of YouTube is governed by YouTube's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We only use YouTube's API to authenticate and obtain streaming credentials.
- Facebook: Your use of Facebook is governed by Facebook's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We only use Facebook's API to authenticate and obtain streaming credentials.
- NDI SDK: We use the NDI SDK to discover and connect to NDI cameras. This is a local network discovery feature and does not transmit data outside your network.
5. User Tracking
We do not track users. The App does not use any tracking technologies, advertising identifiers, or analytics services. We do not collect information about your device, location, or usage patterns.
6. Children's Privacy
Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
7. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your information:
- You can revoke camera, microphone, or network permissions at any time through your iOS device settings
- You can disconnect from YouTube or Facebook at any time through the App settings
- You can delete locally stored game data by uninstalling the App
- You can stop streaming at any time
8. Data Security
Since we do not collect or store your data, there is no risk of data breaches from our servers. All streaming is done directly between your device and your chosen platform (YouTube or Facebook) using secure protocols.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
11. Consent
By using RailShot TV, you consent to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
